This is not a Protest Poem by Terrence Sykes

Whiter than white
Yet
Their blood flows
Within my blood veins
In that pipeline
Upon their hands

If we build that great wall
Or the last taco stand
Will you return
Across the great waters
For you know not
What is sacred
Or merely profane

You took & you take
Make no mistake
You still make
Decisions depraved
Ancestral bones & souls
Rattle from graves
& the great beyond
