Faustian GOP legislators
support white nationalism,
sell what remains of their souls
to maintain a death-grip on power.
When conventional law doesn’t permit
unconstitutional executive orders
or appointment of unvetted incompetents,
they change rules in their favor.
A small clique of bigoted
bloggers and tweeters
embargo communication
with actual doers.
Power intoxicates,
encourages opportunistic amateurs
to deliver cruel payback,
pull life and death levers.
