In the Dust, by Jennifer Lagier

As the Orange Dotard
and Little Rocket Man
posture for cameras,
a threatened world quivers.

Neither has any intention
of delivering more
than instant, superficial
media gratification.

Former allies are denigrated,
demonized, ridiculed
for principled diplomacy
mistaken for weakness.

A new world order
is formed by the antics
of two nuclear-armed
egomaniac toddlers.
